PARSIPPANY, NJ, Feb. 6, 2003 CherryRoad Technologies, a full-service systems integrator, today announced the promotion of Curt Mattingly to Vice President of the company's Federal practice.
As Vice President, Mr. Mattingly is responsible for the delivery and growth of CherryRoad's business with the Federal government. The company's Federal offerings include enterprise resource planning software implementation services, Web services and solutions, disaster recovery services, knowledge management solutions, and network services software integration and program management support.

Mr. Mattingly previously served as Director of Federal e-Business at Acuent Inc., which officially was renamed CherryRoad Technologies in January 2003. As director, he oversaw the design, development and implementation of e-business solutions for the company's Federal customers. Before that, he held the position of Program Manager and was responsible for managing the U.S. Army Strategic & Advanced Computing Center's support and data warehousing operations. Specifically, he provided support for the Army's first enterprise information portal, implemented a corporate-level data warehouse, developed a Java-based intranet site for the Veterans Administration and led a team that wrote the Strategic Information Plan for the Army's Safety Center.
Prior to that, Mr. Mattingly was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. While stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va., he held a variety of positions, including program manager for the Sustaining Base Automation System project, product manager for the Corps/Theater Automated Support Center and Installation Transition Processing Project Manager. He also served as Systems Integration/Plans and Analysis Chief at the Pentagon.
Mr. Mattingly earned a master of science degree in systems management/management information systems from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Western Maryland College in Westminster, Md. He also completed a course in systems automation through the U.S. Army, and a program management course at the Defense Systems Management College in Ft. Belvoir, Va.
